KARIUS OFF?
Now we all thought that Simon Mignolet would be the one leaving Liverpool this summer but the Daily Mirror claim that Loris Karius – who they describe as ‘distraught’ – is going to leave the Reds this summer for Besiktas. The Turkish club – whose current keeper is 34-year-old Tolga Zengin – will sign the German on loan, with a view to a permanent move this summer. The bad news for Simon Mignolet is that he will now have to stay.

Meanwhile, Liverpool could ship out Sheyi Ojo to Aston Villa on loan, while we would be amazed if Borussia Dortmund matched Liverpool’s valuation for Divock Origi, which currently stands at a pretty eye-watering £27m.

RAMSEY CONTRACT TALKS STALL
Chelsea and Manchester United are said to be currently ‘on alert’ because Arsenal have made no progress with the contract of Aaron Ramsey. Or at least that’s The Sun Online claim. They say that the Welshman wants a ‘bumper increase on his £110,000-a-week wages’ but talks have stalled with the Gunners, leaving them in danger of losing him for nothing next summer.

Ramsey was actually dropped for Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Chelsea; you can read 16 Conclusions from that game here.

LOFTUS-CHEEK ON LOAN?
They have been described in The Sun as ‘showdown talks’ – and that might be over-egging the pudding somewhat – but what seems clear is that Ruben Loftus-Cheek cannot go back to not even getting on the Chelsea bench after going to the World Cup with England. He will want to know if he has a future in Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea side. If not, he may well push for a loan, though the closure of the Premier League transfer window means he might have to spread his wings in Germany, Spain or France.

CONTRACT TALK
