Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on Arsenal duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wojciech Szczesny. Just for the lols, we presume.

According to various reports in the press on Saturday morning, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants to lure the pair to Anfield in a double £40million swoop. Goalkeeper Szczesny is currently on loan at Serie A side Roma but would provide competition for Simon Mignolet if he moved to Anfield. Might be better off buying a better goalkeeper, not a worse one?

Oxlade-Chamberlain has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates and is also reportedly wanted by Manchester City and former club Southampton. The Gunners are keen to keep the England international and offer him a new deal but the 22-year-old wants more first-team football. He is also demanding a 200% pay increase on his current £52,000-a-week salary.

Arsenal rate Oxlade-Chamberlain – currently sidelined by a knee injury – at £30m and Szczesny at £10m which would mean a hefty offer from Liverpool would be required for any deal to be completed.

Well, there really is nothing that tastes as bitter as humble pie, yet Antonio Conte is reportedly to make Chelsea eat it. The Sun reports that Conte wants Chelsea to bring back Romelu Lukaku from Everton, two years after selling him for £28m.

Lukaku has done all sorts of wonderful things since leaving Stamford Bridge after not being given a chance under Jose Mourinho. With Chelsea now scratching around for a striker to support Diego Costa, The Sun reckons they’re ready to turn to the guy they let go.

It would certainly be a ballsy move on Chelsea’s part after doing exactly the same with Nemanja Matic. Lukaku is likely to cost north of £50m if he leaves this summer.

This one is from the Daily Mirror via ‘reports in Italy’, which say that Manchester United are considering a summer move for Jeison Murillo. The Colombian central defender has played 27 times in Serie A for Internazionale this season.

We’ve not seen much of him, in truthm, so let’s play some Wikipedia facts:

– Jeison Fabián Murillo Cerón was born on May 27, 1992.

– He was sold by Udinese to Granada and then Granada to Inter. WHY IS HE NOT PLAYING FOR WATFORD?

– Murillo made his debut for Colombia on 10 October 2014, playing 30 minutes in a 3–0 friendly win over El Salvador.

– He was named Young Player of the Tournament at the 2015 Copa America.

Ajax’s Polish striker Arkadiudz Milik has been linked with a host of European clubs, according to a report on website futbol.pl. We know nothing of this website or its legitimacy, but several outlets are now reporting the story.

Also, we wouldn’t be surprised if Milik’s agent is the owner of the site, give the list of clubs linked with the young striker: Barcelona, Inter, Juventus, Leicester, Everton, Marseille, Bayern, Lazio, Arsenal and Liverpool. Leicester truly have hit the big time.
