Gossip: Man United and Juve to discuss five players

MAN UNITED AND JUVENTUS TO MEET
They have an awful lot to discuss, according to reports in Italy. The two clubs are said to be on good terms after the then-world record transfer of Paul Pogba two years ago and discussions are likely to be amicable.

So which players will be discussed? Well, United are eyeing Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic, but he is not for sale so they will also ask about Sami Khedira and Alex Sandro.

Juventus are still desperate to sign Matteo Darmian and want United to lower their asking price, while they will also ask questions about Anthony Martial, with Manchester United desperate not to sell him to another Premier League club.

NEYMAR OFFERED BACK TO BARCA
Well, well. This is pretty big from Marca. They claim that Neymar’s representatives have explored the possibility of going back to Barcelona a year after his world-record £200m move to PSG. Will it happen? Probably not. But Neymar’s people are more than happy to have a conversation.

They are apparently aware of two things: 1) Barcelona really do not want him to join Real Madrid and 2) Antoine Griezmann’s decision to stay at Atletico Madrid leaves money in the pot at Barcelona. Probably not enough money, mind; PSG will presumably want to make a profit.

KANTE TO PSG? MON, MERCI
There has been pretty persistent talk of N’Golo Kante joining PSG but Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph is here to tell you otherwise. He has been told by ‘somebody close to Kante’ that there is ‘virtually no chance’ of him leaving Chelsea this season.
