MAN UNITED TARGET NAINGGOLAN (AGAIN)
It’s only ten days since we reported the Daily Star’s claim that Manchester United had watched both Radja Nainggolan and Saul Niguez when the pair met in the Champions League earlier this month, so it’s definitely time for The Sun to exclusively claim that Jose Mourinho ‘sent scouts to watch the 29-year-old recently in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid’.
They repeat the claim that Mourinho ‘sees him as the perfect fit to replace Michael Carrick next summer’ and we repeat our cynicism about Mourinho needing to replace a player who does not actually play.
VILLA YOUNGSTER A TARGET
Keinan Davis is the 19-year-old striker who has been central to Aston Villa turning around their season; Villa have been unbeaten in the Championship since he was plucked out of the youth team to play for Steve Bruce’s team. The England U-20 striker scored his second goal of the season against Burton Albion on Tuesday night.
So now the vultures are circling and the Daily Mirror say that Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton all sent scouts to watch him this week.
AND THE REST
Crystal Palace could sign free agent Carlton Cole to replace the injured Christian Benteke…Or they could sign Rickie Lambert…Cristiano Ronaldo has demanded €25 million a year after taxes from Real Madrid to commit his future to the club…Liverpool have been alerted to Faouzi Ghoulam’s contract standoff at Napoli and hope to bring the left-back to Anfield.
