HAALAND TO JUVENTUS?
If reports from Italy are to be believed, Manchester United have lost out on Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Haaland. It seems that the Norwegian has ‘agreed terms’ on a contract with Juventus worth £6.8m a year, which is rather a lot less than United would have reportedly offered.
United, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are all willing to pay the release clause for Haaland, but it seems that he would prefer to fight for the Serie A title with Maurizio Sarri.
PEREIRA TO PARIS OR MANCHESTER?
Ricardo Pereira will not leave Leicester this January but the Foxes are likely to claim a massive profit on the Portuguese full-back in the summer as Manchester United and PSG (as well as various Italian clubs) are both heavily linked with a move for the brilliant right-back.
There’s a reason why Leicester bought James Justin in the summer; they knew this would come. But as they paid only £25m for Pereira, they can expect to at least double their money. They’re pretty clever like that.
INSIGNE TO EVERTON?
It seems incredibly unlikely. After all, he is currently the captain of Napoli, but French gossip-merchants Le 10 Sport are claiming that Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti is keen on bringing Italian winger Lorenzo Insigne to Merseyside in January. Good luck with that.
Insigne is currently playing in the Champions League with Napoli and has previously been called “wonderful” by Jurgen Klopp, so can we really see him opting to join a team currently 13th in the Premier League?
