Romelu Lukaku returned from his holiday in America to be told he can leave Manchester United, according to The Sun.

Having scored 42 goals in 96 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils they are reluctant to let him leave on the cheap, which is why other reports have suggested that they will only let him go for £62million.

The Sun reckons executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward ‘will reject lower offers but could consider Inter players being part of the deal’ with the newspaper mentioning Ivan Perisic (here we go again) and Milan Skriniar as possible options.

Lukaku has previously said it would be a “dream” to play in Serie A one day and that day now seems nearer than ever if these latest reports are to be believed.

Inter may not have it all their own way though as the report continues by claiming Juventus ‘will join the race for Lukaku.’

The world of transfer rumours has gone mad. An English player moving away from England to play football? Mental. A report in Spanish newspaper AS reckons Ben Chilwell has been the subject of a huge £71million from La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

Chilwell, who signed a new deal last October, has had a brilliant season for Leicester City and now has six England caps to his name.

The reported offer for Chilwell would break Atletico’s previous transfer record when they paid £63million for Thomas Lemar from Monaco.

Lucas Hernandez and Felipe Luis will leave the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium this summer and the Spanish outfit are looking for adequate replacements.

The report adds that Atletico won’t be the only ones interested in Chilwell, though, as they face competition from Premier League side Manchester City.
