Gossip: Pavon, Moura and some bonafide hogwash on Kane

ARSENAL WANT BOCA STRIKER
It’s a story that is now being reported across the board, but TyC Sports in Argentina seem to be the first source. They claim that Cristian Pavon, a striker for Boca Juniors, is wanted by Arsenal.

The broadcaster report, as have others, that Pavon has a £27m release clause and that Arsenal might well be prepared to pay it. The forward has two caps for Argentina but is still only 21. He’s also well on the way to getting a European passport, not that that would make much difference.

Pavon is being sold as Arsenal’s replacement for Alexis Sanchez, but that’s an awful lot of pressure on a young player.

SOME SPANISH ARSEWATER ABOUT KANE
Honestly, there is some absolute hogwash written about potential transfers. Diario Gol’s name sounds like diarrhoea, and that might not be a coincidence.

On Wednesday, those bullsh*t peddlers report that Harry Kane has not only spoke to Real Madrid, but agreed a move to the Spanish capital and chosen the No. 10 shirt for next season. Sure.

It just so happens that Luka Modric currently wears the No. 10 shirt, so what a remarkable coincidence that he is also apparently set to move to facilitate the deal. Sod off.

MOURA AGREES MAN UNITED MOVE
Sticking with rumours that sound suspiciously sure that something is definitely happening brings us to Lucas Moura and Manchester United.

Gazzetta dello Sport (Italian outlet) claim that Manchester United (English club) have agreed terms with Moura (Brazilian player), who plays for Paris Saint-Germain (French club). And why wouldn’t they have the inside track?

They say that Moura wants to work under Jose Mourinho and has thus agreed terms over a deal to move to Old Trafford. All that is left is the small matter of agreeing a fee with PSG. And as Sky Sports point out, they haven’t even made an offer yet.

Can we get some rules on what tapping up actually is, if it is indeed even a thing? Because agreeing a contract with a player before making an offer would seem like the sort of thing that a potential selling club might not like?
