SALAH POSTPONES £150M MOVE
Mo Salah has ‘rejected’ proposed £150m moves to both Real Madrid and Juventus, according to Mirror Sport, but has apparently served warning that he might want to leave next summer and seek one final big pay-day as he will then have turned 28. It sounds like conjecture to us, but we are here on this page to bring you nothing but conjecture.
The same report claims that there is also extensive interest in Sadio Mane – of course there is – but that the Senegalese forward wants to stay alongside Salah and attempt to win the Premier League. Right now that looks like a realistic ambition; this Liverpool side will challenge again.
POGBA TO PUSH FOR £111M MOVE
Manchester United will not challenge for the title so Paul Pogba will not wait another year to leave the Premier League. His next move will apparently be a transfer request, which could force Manchester United to accept the £111m on offer from Real Madrid for a player they value at £160m.
ABC claim that – and we are indebted to Google Translate here – United have become ‘tough, raw, fussy’ to block the transfer of Pogba, who is desperate to play at Real Madrid with Zinedine Zidane. He has apparently already agreed a pay cut to about £10m a year.
MAN UNITED TARGET ‘MONSTER’
Issa Diop was described as a “monster” by Jose Mourinho last season and his old club Manchester United are now interested to the tune of £45m, according to Sky Sports News. But the Hammers will accept no less than £60m for the French Under-21 international, according to Sky.
Issa Diop would be cheaper & younger alternative for Manchester United than Kalidou Koulibaly or Harry Maguire. £45m offer was discussed plus a United player. United players offered were both defenders. West Ham not interested

Meanwhile, Mirror Sport claim that Harry Maguire had agreed last summer with Leicester’s now-deceased owner that he could leave this year. He wants to join Manchester City (quite rightly) but it is Manchester United who are likely to come up with over £80m for the England centre-half.
