Manchester United still want Sancho, Juventus still want Pogba and Barcelona want Dalot…
But the Manchester Evening News says United want to improve on four areas in a summer spending spree.
Despite the Diallo deal and the progress of Facundo Pellistri, Solskjaer is still keen on a ready-made right winger, as well as a right-back, defensive midfielder and centre-back.
The first team winger target remains Jadon Sancho.
And MEN claims Borussia Dortmund’s interest in PSV Eindhoven star Donyell Malen represents a ‘boost’ for United, with the winger ‘the ideal replacement’ for the outbound Sancho.
It’s reported that PSV will demand €50million for Malen – who’s scored 17 goals in all competitions this season – so Dortmund are unlikely to reduce their €100million demands for Sancho.
Juventus want Paul Pogba. Of course they do.
Fabrizio Romano – writing for Calciomercato – says Pogba’s former club are lining up a summer move.
The report suggests that Juventus will take advantage of the World Cup winner’s contract situation, with his current deal set to end in 2022.
They believe United will be forced to lower their asking price for the midfielder to avoid him running his contract down and leaving for nothing.
Juventus are hoping to tempt the Red Devils into a player-plus-cash deal, but they may be running out of players to offer.
United are said to previously have rejected swap offers involving Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot, Douglas Costa and Miralem Pjanic.
Diogo Dalot has started just three Serie A games for AC Milan since his loan move from United. But Barcelona have seen something in him.
Mundo Deportivo (via sportskeeda) reckon the La Liga giants are ready to table a €11million bid for the Portuguese full-back.
Dalot joined United from Porto in 2018, but moved to Serie A after just 18 Premier League appearances in three seasons.
Dalot’s versatility is thought to be an attractive prospect for Ronald Koeman, with the 21-year-old comfortable playing on the left or the right.
But it’s unclear as to whether United will be willing to sanction his sale or want to give him more time to prove himself at Old Trafford when he returns in the summer.
