Antoine Griezmann will ensure speculation over his future will not rage on as it did last summer.
Griezmann was linked with a move to Manchester United for the majority of last year, with the club initially targeting him before they turned their attentions to Romelu Lukaku.
Even signing a new Atletico Madrid contract in June failed to put an end to speculation, and United are still thought to be interested.
The Frenchman is believed to have ‘reservations’ about moving to Manchester however, and joining Barcelona is eminently more likely.
But Griezmann insists that he will not allow transfer rumours to overshadow his summer again, as prepares to lead France at the World Cup.
“I want to travel to Russia without this concern,” he told L’Equipe. “It’s not about knowing where I’ll play, but about having the peace of mind if I’m still in one place or another.
“It may be boring, but I have told my sister that, whether I stay or not, this will have to be resolved beforehand [prior to the World Cup].
“What bothers me the most is that everyone asks me about this issue.”
