Guardiola names one Man City player he will never sell

Pep Guardiola says that Bernardo Silva “will stay” at Manchester City for as long as he is manager.
Silva joined City from Monaco in the summer but has not started as many games as he would have wished.
He starred against Basel in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie but that was only the Portuguese’s 19th start in all competitions.
Perhaps surprisingly, the 23-year-old has made more appearances (39) than any other City player this season however, and has been in all 41 of their matchday squads.
Guardiola has poured praise on the winger.
“When he played he’s played top,” said Guardiola. “He’s a young guy, he’s a guy in the locker room who we are so happy to have here.
“He’ll stay a long time, while I’m here he will not move on, he will stay with me.
“I haven’t seen him sad, even for one day – always in a good mood, and you cannot imagine how important that is.
“When he didn’t play too much, you cannot imagine how important he is in the locker room and he’s this kind of guy, his mood is always in the right place.”
