Guardiola wins Manager of the Month award
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has won the Barclays Manager of the Month award for September.
Guardiola’s side won all four Premier League fixtures last month, shutting out Liverpool, Watford, Crystal Palace and Chelsea while scoring 17 goals on their way tot he top of the table.
The Spaniard beat fellow nominees Jose Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino and Arsene Wenger after being selected by a combination of votes from a panel of experts and the public.
It is the second time Guardiola has won the award for the second time since moving to the Premier League last season.
