Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says that every one of the squad can still improve.
Hart was speaking after City beat Swansea 2-1, responding immediately after a late equaliser.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side were far from convincing against Swansea, but Hart insists that winning when playing badly bodes well for the rest of the season.
“It was a big win considering we were awful,” Hart told BBC Sport.
“I thought Swansea played really well considering the difficult circumstances. When we play well, I am a bit of a bystander so it was good for me to be involved.
“It’s a good sign to not always play particularly well and be top of the league, qualify as group winners in the Champions League and to be in the semi-finals of the League Cup. To a man, we can all improve.”
5 – Wilfried Bony has scored five goals in the last four PL games between Man City and Swansea (3 for Swansea, 2 for Man City). Familiar.
