Ben Arfa set to become ‘the Neymar of the CFA’

The agent of Hatem Ben Arfa says that his player will become the “Neymar of the CFA” if PSG continue to relegate him to the club’s reserve team.

Ben Arfa earned his dream move after a career redemption at Nice, but his time in Paris has gone sour.

Agent Jean-Jacques Bertrand claims that Ben Arfa has been punished for making a joke about PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Whether that is true or not, Ben Arfa is set to play for the club’s reserve side this season. They compete in the French fourth tier.

“He’ll be the Neymar of the CFA – in any case, I hope he will be,” Bertand told RMC.

“We’ve seen so much about players who have not respected their contracts being called to order. But this is a case to the contrary we want the club to respect their obligations towards the player.

“It’s as if Hatem had no contract: you leave, you have nothing and you can ask for nothing. We can’t do things that way.”
