Havertz ‘can imagine’ playing at Chelsea; talks ongoing
The Head of Football at German outlet Sport Bild, Christian Falk, has confirmed that Kai Havertz has admitted he “can imagine” playing for Chelsea.
The 21-year-old has been on fire for Bayer Leverkusen this season, scoring 15 goals and providing eight assists, leading him to be one of the hottest prospects in European football.
Falk also confirmed that Chelsea have held talks over a deal for the German international, but added that Chelsea are far from the only club interested.
Because of many requests. True: Kai Havertz can imagine to play for @ChelseaFC. True: there are already talks. But: @ChelseaFC is not the one and only Club for Havertz @realmadrid @FCBarcelona @ManUtd @FCBayern @NUFC

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Newcastle are also said to be interested, while Man Utd see Havertz as one of 11 alternatives as they look to have been priced out of a move for Jadon Sancho.
But Havertz himself won’t come cheap, with current estimates putting a transfer fee at around £75million.
With Chelsea already signing Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ready for the start of next season, a move for Havertz would further diminish the rainy day fund Chelsea are tapping into.
