Havertz ‘completes Chelsea medical’ as details of deal emerge
Kai Havertz has reportedly completed his Chelsea medical ahead of his long-awaited move to Stamford Bridge.
Marina Granovskaia has been locked in negotiations with Havertz, his representatives and Bayer Leverkusen for weeks, and the deal is yet to be confirmed.
But Bild claim Havertz ‘passed his medical on Sunday and the formalities are done’.

The report claims an agreement of £72million plus add-ons has been made and now the finishing touches are being put on the transfer.
Havertz would follow fellow Germany star Timo Werner to the club after his compatriot joined from RB Leipzig earlier in the summer.
Along with Werner, the Blues have also signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax, Ben Chilwell from Leicester, and centre-half Malang Sarr from Nice.
Thiago Silva has also joined on a free transfer but landing Havertz would see the club’s spending top £250m.
Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz, confirmed on Monday that Havertz will no longer train with the squad due to his impending move.
“Unfortunately, our squad has not yet been determined,” he said.
“I don’t expect Kevin Volland and Kai Havertz to train with us again. It is possible that other players will also change. We definitely need to bring in players.”
