Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been crowned PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month for October.

Hazard scored three goals and assisted one more in four Premier League games in October, helping Chelsea rise to fourth and just one point behind current leaders Manchester City.

The Belgian has scored five league goals this season, which already represents a better return than his four strikes in the whole of the last campaign.

Hazard won 27,262 votes on the poll, which has held by Sky Sports, with Arsenal winger Theo Walcott coming in second with 14,737.

Walcott scored two goals and assisted one for the Gunners as they remained unbeaten throughout the month.

Stoke midfielder Joe Allen came in third with 14,491 votes, the Welshman having inspired three wins and a draw for his side with three goals and two assists.

Dele Alli of Tottenham (2,012), Southampton striker Charlie Austin (1,996) and Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson (1,073) were also included in the six-man poll.
