How the Club World Cup might impact Liverpool’s PL title chase…

As a consequence of winning the Champions League, Liverpool will head to Qatar in December to try to add the Club World Cup to their honour roll. 

Some concern has already been raised about how the extra commitment might impact upon their Premier League campaign and the defence of their Champions League. But history suggests Liverpool have little to worry about. 

In fact, the four previous English sides to have competed in the Club World Cup have seen an improvement in their Premier League form when they return to domestic duty…
