Major League Soccer is one of the fastest-growing football divisions in the world – and we have all the details on how to watch it from absolutely anywhere.

MLS has had an ever-growing viewership over the last few years. The quality has improved dramatically, too, going from ‘true shootouts’ back in the 1990s, to today – increasingly featuring some of the most high-profile players in the world.

Indeed, Lionel Messi joined Inter Miami on a two-year deal in early June. The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner is set to make his debut on July 21st. So, that is not a day to be missed.

Now, football fever is taking North America by storm. In fact, in 2022, over 10 million people attended MLS games in stadiums all across the United States and Canada.

But, you don’t have to go anywhere to enjoy the action! And we have all the details on how to watch MLS from the comfort of your own home!

How to watch & stream MLS games on TV & online

Earlier this year, MLS and Apple TV announced a 10-year broadcasting deal. This allows for the league to be streamed all across the world, which is great news for you – football fans.

All you need to watch every remaining minute of the 2023 season – including Messi’s debut – is an Apple TV MLS Season Pass

In the United States, only 34 regular season games, eight playoff games and the MLS Cup final will be televised on Fox/ FS1 and Fox Deportes.

In Canada, TSN has the right to broadcast 68 regular season games that can be seen on TSN and RDS.

But, with an MLS Season Pass, you can watch every single match from wherever you are in the world!

Subscribers will also be able to stream certain MLS Next and Next Pro games, as well as the Leagues Cup – which is a tournament between MLS and Mexican Liga MX clubs.

Upcoming MLS Games

Here are just three of the biggest MLS fixtures coming up in the near future. As mentioned, every single game of the 2023 campaign is available with an MLS Season Pass!

July 5 – LA Galaxy vs Los Angeles FC

At one point, LA Galaxy was arguably the biggest team in MLS.

Some players to pull on the jersey include David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robbie Keane, Landon Donavan and Ashley Cole, to name a few.

However, since Los Angeles FC’s arrival on the scene, there has been something of a power shift in the City of Angels.

At the moment, Los Angeles FC are having a much better 2023 season, with Galaxy struggling to find consistent form.

But, in the words of almost every Sunday league manager in the world… ‘form goes out the window in a derby match’ and ‘El Traffico’ is just around the corner.

All you need to do is sign up for an MLS Season Pass to enjoy the action!

July 15 – Atlanta United vs Orlando City FC

At one point in MLS, there wasn’t a single team in the Southeast of the U.S. Now, there are five and the ‘golden era’ of MLS in the American South is well underway.

Orlando City were the first to surface in 2015 and Atlanta followed suit in 2017. The two clubs now consider themselves to be ‘local’ rivals. Although their stadiums are roughly 440 miles apart…

Nevertheless, the games always make for an enthralling watch. So far, Atlanta have won 17 of their encounters, with Orlando winning seven, along with five draws.

Atlanta are expected to sell out their 20,000-seater stadium for the clash. So, there should be another electric atmosphere for MLS Season Pass Holders to enjoy.

July 21 – Inter Miami vs Cruz Azul

As noted, Messi will make his debut for Inter Miami on July 21, according to the club’s managing owner, Jorge Mas.

Mas confirmed in an interview that the Argentina icon will play in Miami’s Leagues Cup clash with Liga MX side Cruz Azul. The match will be played in the DRF PNK Stadium.

Considering Messi has already won everything there is to win in Europe, it will be interesting to see how he fares in North America.

Miami fans will no doubt be very excited to see the Barcelona legend don the Miami jersey for the first time, and you can witness it too, from the comfort of your couch.

So, what are you waiting for?! Sign up for the Apple TV MLS Season Pass today to make sure you don’t miss a single second of MLS action!
