Ings 'will thrive at Anfield'

Ings will officially join Brendan Rodgers’ side on July 1, subject to a medical, when his contract at Turf Moor expires.
Burnley have rejected the initial compensation fee offered by Liverpool, which the Sky Bet Championship side are due for helping develop the player as Ings is under 24, and a Premier League Compensation Committee may have to become involved.
Dyche admits it is a big move for the England U21 international but feels the experience he gained in the top flight with Burnley last season, when he scored 11 goals in 37 appearances, could prove crucial.
Ings’ goals were not enough to help keep them in the Premier League but Dyche believes he is going to a club that will help nurture his talent.
“It’s a big jump,  not so much as a footballer, as he played in the Premier League last season, but the fact they are a big, historic club, although Burnley are as well,” Dyche told Sky Sports News HQ.
“But the grandeur of Liverpool, the physical size of it and the fan presence there, whether they will take to him and he can get off and running, whether he can deliver performances (will all be factors).
“I’m confident he can be a success but there is a settling-in period with a new club but hopefully he will be in a good environment and be successful there.”
