Inter make Arsenal man ‘first option’ to replace €111m striker
Inter Milan have their hearts set on luring Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette to Italy with the club likely to lose Lautaro Martinez this summer, according to reports.
Martinez has scored 16 goals in 28 appearances for the Serie A side in all competitions, leading to interest from around Europe.
The Argentine is Barcelona’s top summer target, but previous reports have suggested that they face competition from Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester City.

There is currently a standoff between Inter and Barca over the striker’s value with Inter wanting his €111m release clause paid in full, while the Spaniards would rather supplement the cost with players in exchange.
Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) claims that Inter are planning for Martinez’s departure by taking a ‘step forward’ in their pursuit of Arsenal striker Lacazette.
Lacazette has only started 15 of Arsenal‘s 27 Premier League matches this season, scoring seven goals, which has led to rumours that the France international could be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium this summer.
It has been speculated that Atletico Madrid was a possible destination but Mundo Deportivo says that he is Inter Milan’s ‘first option’ to replace Martinez with possible deals for Timo Werner and Edinson Cavani taking a backseat.
