Craig Bellamy is being lined up by Sky Sports as one of numerous different guest pundits to replace Gary Neville on Monday Night Football.
The Welsh striker is said by the Daily Mail to be ‘among the leading contenders’ to work alongside Jamie Carragher after Neville left the broadcaster to become manager of Valencia.
Bellamy has not been a regular face on Sky Sports though he did cause some amusement on Twitter for his choice of suit for an earlier appearance.

Jamie Carragher has since clarified the situation with regards to the future of the punditry position, adding the following:
Just to be clear Gnev2 isn't being replaced. We're going to have a different guest every week. Should be good!
