Liverpool legend John Barnes thinks Jurgen Klopp should bring Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu and Real Sociedad’s Diego Llorente to Anfield this summer.
Liverpool are currently 25 points clear of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table with the league aiming to get underway again next month.
Despite that, the Reds have been linked with a host of names, as Klopp and Liverpool look at ways they can improve their squad further this summer.
Barnes picked out Leicester centre-back Soyuncu as a particularly good option, he told GentingBet: “Soyuncu would fit in well at any club.
“He’s taken the role of centre-back at Leicester by the scruff of the neck and he’s really improved and given something extra as well as he’s good on the ball.
“If Leicester did want to sell, Soyuncu could go to any of the top clubs.”
Real Socieded centre-back Llorente has been linked with a £40m to Anfield with ‘several teams following his steps’.
“Liverpool’s recruitment is very specific, they’ll be looking at years down the line and Llorente is only 26. Having someone like Llorente come in and give a solidness as well as the experience is great.”
Barnes continued: “I’m going to patriotic and say that Sancho would be great, being an England player and an entertaining player as well. I would say someone like that would be great to get on the wing and terrorise defences.”
