Jorginho says that Chelsea fans “have the right to complain” after his recent performances have come in for criticism.
Jorginho has endured a difficult first season in the Premier League since joining Chelsea from Napoli for £56m in the summer.
The Italy international has been branded “a five-a-side player” by those who feel he is symptomatic of Chelsea’s slower, more possession-based approach under Maurizio Sarri.
He was even booed at times during a positive display in the 2-0 win over Tottenham in midweek, but says supporters are entitled to their own opinions, and he will simply try to “change their minds”.
“The important thing is to know how to deal with the situation,” he said.
“I remained calm because I know what fans are like. They have the right to complain.
“I’ll keep working and I’m sure I’ll be able to change their minds.”
