Jose Mourinho is ‘genuinely interested’ in signing Joe Hart from Manchester City, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Manchester United will need a new goalkeeper if David De Gea is allowed to join Real Madrid this summer, and Mourinho is a big fan of the England international.
The Telegraph say that he would ‘love’ to sign a player from Manchester City but their cross-city rivals are highly unlikely to countenance such a deal.
West Ham are far more likely to be Hart’s next club; he needs to play regular first-team football to retain his place as England’s No. 1.
The report claims: ‘The deal for Hart would most likely be a season-long loan and it is understood that the England international wants to make the move to West Ham.’
