Juventus are planning to loan out winger Marko Pjaca, a potential target for Liverpool.
Pjaca joined Juventus from Dinamo Zagreb in summer 2016, but has struggled to break into the first team in Italy.
He played 19 times in all competitions last season, but a cruciate knee ligament injury has restricted his opportunities this campaign.
The 22-year-old is yet to feature for the first team but has been slowly building his fitness for the Under-19s.
Massimiliano Allegri is hoping that a loan move can help the Croatian’s progress.
“I don’t need any more players – I would just risk getting even more confused,” Allegri said at a news conference in Turin ahead of his side’s Coppa Italia quarterfinal against Torino.
“Pjaca is not getting much of a game so he is going to leave on loan so that he will come back to us stronger than before.”
It has been reported that Juventus would offer Pjaca to Liverpool in a part-exchange deal for Emre Can.
But it is believed that Bundesliga side Schalke are at the front of the queue for the winger.
