Juventus star Dejan Kulusevski has been watched by Premier League sides Manchester City and Arsenal, according to reports.

The 21-year-old arrived in Turin with big expectations when he was signed from Atalanta for £31.5million.

He excelled during a loan spell with Parma but is yet to reach his best form at Juventus.

Kulusevski’s debut season saw him score seven goals in 47 matches in all competitions.

Despite his tough start, Kulusevski remains highly-rated and could be the subject of a Premier League bid in the future.

Italian source Calciomercato claims that the Sweden international has already been watched by representatives of City and Arsenal.

ESPN add to the rumours by claiming that Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested.

Kulusevski mainly plays on the right wing but can also operate more centrally if required.

That might soon become necessary if Cristiano Ronaldo is allowed to leave the Allianz stadium.

Both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring the Portuguese legend’s situation.

During Juve’s pre-season camp, manager Max Allegri was asked about Kulusevski.

He said: “Give me time, I saw him in two training sessions. He must certainly grow in the realization phase, he has an important engine and therefore can be improved.”

While English teams are hoping to sign him, the report goes on to state that Juve are not willing to consider a sale.

They value him at more than the £31.5m they paid last year and don’t want him to leave any time soon.

Club officials have already informed the player that his place in the starting lineup is safe ahead of the new campaign.

The news means City and Arsenal may have to pursue alternative targets, albeit in different positions.

A new winger isn’t City’s priority as they look to replace Sergio Aguero up front.

Harry Kane is their favoured option but Daniel Levy is holding out for more than £100m.

Pep Guardiola recently stated that the Premier League champions are being priced out of a move for a new striker.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have already bolstered their squad with the signings of Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares.

Ben White is close to joining after signing a five-year deal at the Emirates.
