St Johnstone’s veteran James McFadden may be left out if manager Tommy Wright considers it too much of a risk to play him on the artificial pitch.
Assistant manager Callum Davidson said: “We will train on the new astro on Friday. We won’t overdo it. We will assess things with the player and Michael McBride, the physio. We want to win the game but it is a long season and we have players back fit to give us options.”
