Jurgen Klopp has reportedly outlined 14 ‘conditions’ he expects Real Madrid to honour if he leaves Liverpool for the Spanish champions.

The Reds have been poor for most of the season with their 3-0 loss to Brighton over the weekend seeing them drop to ninth in the Premier League standings.

That has seen Klopp’s role in their current downward trajectory questioned with some on social media wondering if it’s the end of an era at the club.

Klopp has been unbelievable since coming in at Liverpool with the German winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and other trophies since joining in 2015.

In a press conference earlier this week, Klopp insisted that only the sack would see him leave Liverpool with the former Borussia Dortmund boss fully committed to the job.

Klopp told reporters (via BBC Sport): “Either the manager’s position changes or a lot of other things change. So as far as I am concerned unless someone tells me I will not go.

“So that means maybe there is a point where we have to change other stuff. We will see that, but that is something for the future. Like summer or whatever. Not now.

“I have space and time to think about it — we have to play better football now.”

But now Spanish publication Nacional claim that the coach that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez ‘likes the most’ is Klopp with it becoming ‘clearer that Carlo Ancelotti ‘s project at Real Madrid has come to an end’.

The Spanish newspaper add that Klopp is ‘motivated to try out’ La Liga and that ‘being able to coach Real Madrid would be enthusiastically welcomed by the German coach’.

And Klopp will make 14 ‘conditions’ if he is to agree to take over from Ancelotti when he departs the Bernabeu with the Liverpool boss eyeing ‘five signings, eight departures and one surprise’.

Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vazquez, Jesus Vallejo, Alvaro Odriozola, Dani Ceballos, Eden Hazard amd Mariano Diaz would all be asked to ‘pack their bags’ and Klopp ‘would not insist on [Luka] Modric ‘s continuity either’.

And Klopp ‘has requested a minimum of five signings’ with Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe and Dusan Vlahovic are seen as key targets if he were to get the job.

He would also ask for a ‘right-back, a center-back and the continuity of Marco Asensio’ but the ‘big surprise’ would come as Klopp doesn’t ‘consider Karim Benzema essential’.
