Jules Kounde is ready to leave Sevilla in the summer transfer window with Man Utd interested in bringing him to the Premier League, according to reports.

The France international has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a long time now with multiple reports claiming Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and the Red Devils are all interested.

Kounde has been in great form again this season, making 27 La Liga appearances as he has helped Julen Lopetegui’s side to third in the standings.

A report at the end of March insisted that Sevilla want €60m (£50m) for Kounde this summer as they look to boost their own transfer kitty.

Chelsea seem like one of the most logical options for Kounde this summer with the centre-back guaranteed game time with both Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger leaving on free transfers this summer.

But now Spanish publication Marca (via Sport Witness) claim that Man Utd are part of the race to sign the 23-year-old this summer with Erik ten Hag looking to revamp his squad.

Interim boss Ralf Rangnick said last week that the club could bring in as many as ten new players in the summer transfer window.

The report describes the door as ‘wide open’ for any interested clubs with the need for sales at Sevilla being ‘gigantic’.

Kounde ‘already decided in the summer that it was time for a change of scenery’ and he’s ready to ‘pack his bags’ at the end of the season with Man Utd ‘eyeing’ a transfer.

Meanwhile, Man Utd right-back Diogo Dalot admits it will be “really difficult for the club to quaify for the Champions League after their 3-1 loss to Arsenal on Saturday.

“It is difficult for us to accept as this club belongs in the Champions League,” Dalot told MUTV.

“All I want to say is that if it is still mathematically possible then I will believe to the end. Obviously it is going to be really difficult and we need to be realistic, everybody can see that in football things can happen until the end.”
