Stoke boss Paul Lambert wants to rebuild the club following their relegation from the Premier League.
The Potters have only won one game in 14 with Lambert at the helm and face Swansea – who are themselves battling relegation – in their final match of the season on Sunday.
“This has been tough,” the Scot said of the last week. “It’s still raw for everybody and it’s really disappointing but there’s a real good chance to rebuild it and strip it back.”
When asked if there was a break clause in his contract, Lambert added: “There’s no clause. I’m pretty sure when the game finishes we’ll sit down and talk like managers and owners do.”
