Juventus have offered Manchester United two players plus cash for Romelu Lukaku, according to a report.

Gossip on Saturday brought us news that Juventus are looking to edge Inter out of the race for the United striker – and the Old Lady has something which could tempt the Red Devils.

Juve was said to be willing to offer up Paulo Dybala in exchange for Lukaku, with the Daily Mirror suggesting United would receive a cash sum as well as the 25-year-old.

And now The Sun have an ‘exclusive’ that Lukaku ‘has opened talks with Juventus’ with the Serie A giants ‘prepared to outbid Inter Milan in a cash-plus-player deal’.

The package on offer to United? ‘Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic plus £10million’ in exchange for Lukaku, who wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Dybala, who could be the perfect signing for United, has scored 10 goals in 42 appearances this term but Max Allegri has named the 25-year-old on his bench on 10 occasions leading to suggestions Juve might cash in.

However, the report adds that Dybala could provide a hiccup to any deal as he ‘wants parity with United’s higher earners’.

Mandzukic, meanwhile, ‘would offer cover in the No9 role’ for United as they got used to life without the former Everton striker.
