Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic says he is happy with the Serie A side, insisting that it does not concern him who may be watching his progress.
Milinkovic-Savic has attracted the interest of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Juventus and Man City joining Man Utd and Barcelona among the Serbia’s suitors.
Jose Mourinho was reported to be willing to pay in the region of £95million for the 22-year-old but Milinkovic-Savic is not getting carried away by the attention.
He told Mediaset Premium: “I play for Lazio and I don’t care who came to watch me. I play for Lazio and I am happy here.”
Milinkovic-Savic bagged a brace in a 3-3 draw with Atalanta this weekend, with Lazio sporting director Igli Tare recently confirming that Lazio had received concrete interest.
He said: “We have received offers for him, some of which are way over £60million.
“However, none have come from Juventus.
“He signed a new contract six months ago and this means he’s happy here.”
