‘Very upset’ Leboeuf blasts three ‘shameful’ Chelsea men after ‘disrespectful’ performance at City

Frank Leboeuf has called the performances of three Chelsea players “shameful” as Graham Potter’s side put on a “disrespectful” display against Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round.
The Blues found themselves 3-0 to City at half-time to City with Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden getting on the scoresheet, while Chelsea barely laid a glove on the defending Premier League champions.
Mahrez added a fourth with City’s second penalty of the afternoon five minutes from time.
It was City’s second win over the out-of-form Londoners in the space of four days and piled on the frustration for their manager Potter.
Chelsea fans booed their side at the final whistle and were heard chanting the name of former manager Thomas Tuchel, who won the Champions League during his time at the club.
They have now only won one of their last seven matches in all competitions with another tough test coming up on Thursday when they face an in-form Fulham, who are currently three places above them in the Premier League.
And former Chelsea defender Leboeuf called the performances of Mason Mount, Jorginho and Kai Havertz “shameful” and thought the display from Potter’s men was “really disrespectful”.
“Shameful, really shameful,” Leboeuf told ESPN FC at half time.
“I’ve never seen Chelsea so low in terms of willing, they don’t have the will, they don’t have the guts, they don’t have the courage to fight for the colours, they don’t have pride.
“I see players prove nothing, they show disrespect towards the fans and the club.
“I’m talking about the leaders, so-called leaders, I’m not talking about Hall, Chalobah or Humphreys, I’m talking about the players who form the spine, they are shameful, they do nothing.
“I don’t know what Kai Havertz is doing, he’ll be on record for scoring in the Champions League final, but what else?
“Mason, yes, I love him, he’s a guy from the club, but come on, he has to do something.
“I’m not even going to talk about Jorginho. I don’t know what Jorginho is still doing on the field.
“I’m very upset with what I’ve seen. I think it’s really disrespectful, they don’t do anything to make sure at least people will be proud.
“Enough is enough, something has to be changed. It’s not the club I know, it’s not the club fighting for Europe and being a champion of Europe, they’re so far away from that right now.”
