Leeds United backed to sign exiled Spurs defender Rose
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has been told to pursue Tottenham outcast Danny Rose in January by former Premier League striker Kevin Phillips.
Rose has been on the peripheral in North London since the arrival of Jose Mourinho.
He’s now looking for a route out of Spurs after being left out of their Europa League squad.

Phillips believes Rose would do a good job at replacing Ezgjan Alioski in the wing back position under Bielsa.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “You can get away with Alioski at left-back in the Championship but when you face the likes of Chelsea it is a different ball game.
“In my opinion a natural left-back would be on the priority list for Leeds next year.
“I imagine Leeds would look at Danny Rose. It will not be about money for him at this stage.
“He will want to play football and I am sure he would love to play in a Marcelo Bielsa side.
“It is an area that I think Bielsa will be looking at and Danny Rose – to me it is a no brainer.
“A specialised, experienced left back who is good on the ball. He could slot in quite nicely.”
Rose joined Newcastle United last season during his search for game time, but his performances did not manage to warrant a permanent move.
He would be a defensive option for Bielsa in the left wing back position, considering Alioski is more attacking-minded.
The team is currently preparing for their Premier League fixture tonight. They face West Ham in a big game at Elland Road at 20:00.
