Leeds United under Marcelo Bielsa will get exposed by top sides in the Premier League, according to Rob Green.

The Whites sit 14th in the top flight eleven games into the season. Bielsa’s side have four wins, two draws and five defeats so far this campaign.

They have continued right where they left off in the Championship in the Premier League with their playing style. This has garnered a lot of praise, especially with their showings against Liverpool and Man City.

Leeds have picked up some impressive wins this season over the likes of Everton and Aston Villa. But they have also suffered heavy defeats to Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

Bielsa’s men are ranked 18th when it comes to goals conceded. The promoted side have let in 20 goals from their 11 outings so far.

Last time out they fell to a 3-1 defeat to Chelsea. Leeds did lead early on through Patrick Bamford, but the Blues fought back to take all three points.

Speaking after the defeat to Chelsea, as later released on The Sky Sports Football Podcast, Green insisted that Bielsa will not alter his tactics when facing top teams:

“This is what they do and this is how they play and they’re not going to change for anyone.

“We saw that on the opening day [against Liverpool], a few people were surprised [but] look, [if] you’ve not seen Leeds play, you don’t know how Bielsa works, this is what he does.

“He has absolute belief in it and it will not change. They just need to do it better all the time. They’re going to get exposed against the top teams.”
