Jeffrey Bruma could return to the Leicester squad for the visit of Portsmouth.
The on-loan Chelsea defender has missed the last two matches with a groin strain but he has trained this week and Sven-Goran Eriksson is confident he will be available.
Otherwise, the Foxes are as they were with Bruma’s Chelsea team-mate Patrick van Aanholt and veteran striker Steve Howard still sidelined with thigh and ankle problems respectively.
Eriksson has options should he wish to make changes, with defenders Julio Moreno and Bruno Berner, midfielders Matt Oakley and Lloyd Dyer and striker Martyn Waghorn all available for recalls.
Yakubu could be in line to face his former club. The Nigerian played for Pompey between January 2003 and July 2005.
Portsmouth will include Liam Lawrence in their squad again after he returned from three weeks out with a calf problem as a 59th-minute substitute in last Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Middlesbrough.
He suffered no recurrence of the injury during the match but picked up a niggle in training this week which he should overcome.
Steve Cotterill has no other new injury or suspension problems and has a rejuvenated squad to choose from as this was the first time in three weeks they did not have a midweek game.
Defender Aaron Mokoena, who has been dropped by South Africa for their 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt on March 26, is set to continue on the bench.
Forward Danny Webber has stepped up his recovery from a year on the sidelines with anterior cruciate ligament damage but is nowhere near ready to return.
