RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has fuelled speculation he will leave this summer amid links with Liverpool.
Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid as well as Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have also been linked with the forward, who scored 21 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions this season, and is out of contract in 2020.
In an interview with newspaper Die Welt, Werner commented on his future, revealing that he could leave RB Leipzig.
“I’m not yet an international player. My role models are Lewandowski, Luis Suarez and Griezmann. If I want to become a great champion, I will probably have to play in a different club, I want to be honest in this sense,” the German international said.
“Naby Keita has not fully established himself with us, but he could become a top player at Liverpool. My future? I still have 4-5 years to learn in order to become a world-class player.”
