Another £40m winger added to list of Sancho alternatives

This list of Manchester United alternatives to Jadon Sancho could end up about 40 names long as the Mail add Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey to the mix.

Jamaican international Bailey is apparently seen as a cheaper alternative to both Sancho and Jack Grealish, with Bayer Leverkusen likely to ask for just £40m for a player who has scored just five Bundesliga goals this season.

The report says that ‘the 22-year-old is naturally left-footed, but is comfortable with both feet and has pace to burn, which is an obvious attraction for Soljskaer’, but Bailey almost exclusively plays on the left for Leverkusen.

He is expected to return to Leverkusen’s bench – where he has spent much of the season – against Cologne on Wednesday night.
