Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reminded Mohamed Salah that he once scored four goals in a game too.
Salah struck four against Watford on Saturday to help Liverpool ease to a comfortable Premier League victory.
The Egyptian has now scored 36 goals in all competitions in his debut season at Anfield, but this was his first hat-trick for the club.
Klopp was eager to remind the forward that he is not alone in netting four times in one game, however.
“Maybe I should start like this: I scored four goals in a game as well, in 1991,” he said. “You can find it on YouTube [but] I’m not sure we had recorded games in those times!
“Let’s come back to Mo now! He was fantastic, of course, really fantastic.
“The way he scored the goals… the conditions were unbelievably difficult with a little bit of snow on [the pitch] and it was slippy, the ball slowed down, stuff like that.”
