Premier League side Liverpool are interested in signing Nice youngster Pedro Brazao, according to reports.

The 17-year-old has only made one appearance for the French side’s senior team, which came in Ligue 1 at the end of last season against Caen.

The Portugal under-19 international has several clubs monitoring his progress, including Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Sporting Lisbon.

However, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool are understood to have taken steps to try and secure a deal for the player, with the Merseyside club keeping tabs on Brazao since before he had even joined Nice’s academy in 2017.

And FootMercato (via the Daily Star) claims that a law firm represents the young winger with Liverpool and PSG making contact with them over Brazao.

Following the signing of Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg it is thought that any other first-team arrivals are very unlikely, although they did managed to add Brentford youngster Joe Hardy earlier in the month.
