Liverpool dismiss Ryan Fraser claims as ‘nonsense’
Liverpool have briefed several Merseyside-based journalists that claims of ‘advanced talks’ about Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser are ‘nonsense’.
talkSPORT claimed on Monday that Liverpool and Bournemouth were close to an agreement on the Scot, who is out of contract at the end of the season and so available cheaply.
But by Monday night, Liverpool had told the Echo and other well-placed Liverpool journalists that the story is false. It is unlikely that the Reds will make any transfers in January.
Been told that the speculation about #LFC and Ryan Fraser is wide of the mark. Claims that they are in talks over a January move dismissed as ‘nonsense’. Liverpool have also recently been linked with Denis Zakaria from Gladbach but Klopp happy with his midfield options.

Liverpool should certainly be happy with their midfield options after Sunday’s 3-1 victory over Manchester City which left them eight points clear at the top of the Premier League.
