Liverpool have been linked with Barcelona’s second-choice keeper Jasper Cillessen as their search for a new goalkeeper continues.
The Reds have been strongly linked with Roma’s Alisson and Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak, but those No. 1s would both cost around £80m.
Dutch goalkeeper Cillessen’s price tag is barely much lower; he has a £52.5m release clause in his contract.
Like the Jasper Cillessen to Liverpool links, a very good GK. Hate the €60 million purported price. That is ludicrous. Even in this market, that’s about double what he should cost.

Cilessen plays second fiddle to Marc-Andre ter Stegen at Barcelona, starting just one La Liga and one Champions League game this season, though he did keep eight clean sheets in his 11 appearances for Barcelona.
Speaking last month, the Dutchman said he did want to “play more than 10 games” but that he was happy at Barcelona – presumably because he played 11 games.
