Liverpool send Lallana to ‘specialist rehab centre’ in Qatar
Liverpool have sent Adam Lallana to a ‘specialist rehabilitation centre’ in the Middle East as he continues to struggle with a thigh injury.
Lallana was injured in a pre-season clash with Atletico Madrid and was expected to be sidelined for a few weeks at the start of the season, but now it is mid-October and the Englishman appears no closer to a return.
The Times report: ‘Adam Lallana has been sent to a specialist rehabilitation centre in Qatar as he continues his recovery from a thigh injury.
‘Liverpool have decided to arrange a change of scenery for the 29-year-old in the Middle East where he will continue his fitness schedule at the Aspetar clinic under the supervision of one of the club’s medical staff.’
Liverpool have struggled without Lallana’s high pressing this season, winning only one of their last seven games in all competitions ahead of this weekend’s clash with Manchester United.
Counting down the days until Lallana's return. We need his energy. His pressing. Why do LFC not press anymore?!
