Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has revealed he is happy and wants to stay at the club amid the ongoing uncertainty over the futures of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

The trio have formed a formidable partnership in recent years, helping Liverpool to the Champions League  in 2019 and then securing the Premier League title the following year.

However, all three are out of contract at the ned of next season with doubt over whether they will all stay with Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Egyptian winger Salah has publicly admitted that he wants more than what Liverpool are currently willing to offer him, but did reveal that he will remain at the club next season regardless of whether he extends his contract this summer.

Ahead of their upcoming Champions League final, Salah said: “I don’t focus on my contract at the moment, I don’t want to be selfish at all.

“This is about the team now; this is a really important week for us, and I’m just focused on the team.

“I want to win the Champions League again; I want to see Hendo [Jordan Henderson] have it again in his hands and give it to me after. I don’t want to talk about the contract, we have a long time – I am stay next season, for sure.”

Mane is also yet to commit his future to the Reds and left fans worried with a cryptic answer on his future earlier this week.

German champions Bayern Munich have been linked to the Senegalese forward and the 30-year-old has said he will reveal his future after the Champions League final.

“This question [about my future] I will answer after Champions League. If I’m staying or not, I’m going to answer after Champions League.”

Amid the uncertainty surrounding the duo, Firmino, who has seen his role reduced by the singings of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz recently, has revealed he wants to stay on Merseyside.

Talking to TNT Sport (via Liverpool Echo), the Brazilian said said: “I’m very happy here. I’m grateful to God that I’m here playing for a great club with great players, winning titles. And my will is to stay.

“My wish is to stay here. I want to be here. I’m happy here. So that’s all I can say, I want to stay.”
