Danny Ings wishes to leave Liverpool this summer in the search of first-team football elsewhere.
Ings joined Liverpool in summer 2015, but two separate serious injuries have restricted him to just 25 appearances in three years.
Jurgen Klopp is an undoubted fan of the forward, but Ings will look for a new club this summer after making his desire for regular football clear.
According to The Guardian, Ings came to the ‘difficult decision’ in an attempt to ‘relaunch a career that has been blighted by injuries’.
Liverpool have ‘no real desire’ to lose the 25-year-old, but he ‘will depart’ with their ‘blessing’.
Bournemouth, West Ham, Tottenham and former club Burnley have all previously been linked with a move for the England international.
There is also interest from abroad. Inter Milan are monitoring his situation, as well as RB Leipzig, Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen.
