Liverpool make Real ‘tremble’ as ‘super offer’ is revealed for ‘bombshell’ who is ‘unleashing madness’

Premier League side Liverpool have prepared a huge offer to lure Kylian Mbappe to Anfield this summer, according to reports.

The Reds priority this summer was to improve their midfield with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai joining earlier in the transfer window.

With Jordan Henderson and Fabinho now likely to leave Anfield, Jurgen Klopp is continuing to focus on more midfield targets with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia a top priority.

But a number of reports in Spain are linking Liverpool with a seemingly unlikely move for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Mbappe.

Fichajes claims that the Merseysiders are preparing a ‘super offer’ for Mbappe that will make Real Madrid ‘tremble’ after the France international ‘unleashed madness in the transfer market’.

It was revealed over the weekend that PSG have now put Mbappe up for sale with the Frenchman excluded from their Japan tournée.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed: ‘PSG feel betrayed as they’re certain Kylian has already agreed a free transfer with Real Madrid. This despite Mbappé in interviews said he’d never leave PSG for free.’

And Fichajes add that, as well as Real Madrid, Liverpool are ‘willing to do anything in order’ to land the ‘bombshell’ this summer and it ‘would not be out of the question to see him’ at Anfield in the upcoming season.

But the Reds are pretty well covered for attacking players, unless there is an unexpected exit at Anfield, while the financial figures involved in a deal for Mbappe likely be way too much for Liverpool to fork out.

It seems more likely that Mbappe will spend a year in Saudi Arabia or seal an early move to Real Madrid this summer.

Romano wrote in his Caught Offside column: “Kylian Mbappe’s future is now in his hands – there’s no specific deadline for a deal to be done, because it’s Kylian who decides. PSG have made very clear that Mbappe is on the market, and they want to find a solution as soon as possible.

“I’m not aware of any concrete talk with any other club. The reality is that from Saudi they want to try with a record bid, but all parties involved know very well that Real Madrid are the favourite destination of Kylian. Real Madrid are keeping it quiet but they’re still waiting for PSG to communicate clear price tag for Kylian this summer.

“Nothing will be decided on technical issues like Mbappe being in PSG’s Champions League squad yet, but the plan is that PSG don’t want to play Mbappe or other players not in their plans during the season.

“If Mbappe decides to stay until the end of his contract, he will stay on the bench the whole season – this is the intention as of today. They are encouraging clubs to bid and they are suggesting to him to find a solution this summer.

“There is nothing concrete with Saudi clubs at the moment, but they will try an astronomical, world-record bid for Mbappe. Still, they know, as does everyone else around the world, that in Mbappe’s mind, it’s Real Madrid.”
