Barcelona centre-half and Liverpool target Yerry Mina has not signed for Everton.
Mina was on the shortlist of numerous clubs throughout Europe before the World Cup, with his first-team opportunities at Barcelona restricted.
He joined the club from Palmeiras in January, but made just six appearances for the La Liga champions.
But Everton are rumoured to be eyeing an ambitious bid for the Colombian as part of new manager Marco Silva’s grand plan.
Mina’s agent has dealt the Toffees a blow however, insisting that Barcelona hold all the cards.
“It is not true that Yerry has signed for Everton,” Yair Mina told El Mundo Deportivo.
“Yerry has many teams who hold an interest in him but before we can think about that, we need to know what Barcelona plan to do.
“When we hear from the club, we will make a decision.”
