Liverpool to decide over ‘a further procedure’ for Mane

Liverpool will assess Sadio Mane when he returns from international duty this week.
With Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah both suffering injuries on duty with their clubs in this most recent break, the Reds were hit with news of Mane breaking his thumb in Senegal training.
The Reds do not believe the injury to be serious, but expect to be without Mane against Huddersfield on Saturday.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the club will decide ‘whether a further procedure is necessary’ when Mane returns to Merseyside either later on Tuesday or on Wednesday morning.
Van Dijk is expected to feature against Huddersfield regardless, while Salah’s availability is unclear.
