Liverpool told top target will ‘choose Man City’ as pundit claims Klopp has lost the dressing room

Gabby Agbonlahor doesn’t think Liverpool stand a chance of signing Jude Bellingham this summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
The Reds suffered another inexcusable defeat on Saturday afternoon at the hands of struggling Wolves.
The result leaves them 10th in the Premier League, 21 points behind pacesetters Arsenal and more importantly, 11 off fourth-placed Newcastle United.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are facing a very tough battle to finish inside those lucrative Champions League spots, and missing out on Europe’s premier competition could have some huge ramifications.
England and Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham is reportedly Liverpool’s top transfer target with lots of work going on behind the scenes to convince the player Anfield is the best place for him.
While Bellingham’s decision will be heavily influenced by the overall project at a club, no Champions League football with the Reds potentially struggling to qualify again next season could be a deal breaker.
Liverpool have chosen the worst season possible to be utter s**t with one of the best young players in the world likely to leave their club this summer.
Former Premier League striker Agbonlahor does not think Anfield will be a tempting destination for Bellingham if the Reds “are not playing in the big competitions”.
“I think the problem, Paul, is that you have been linked with Bellingham,” Agbonlahor told a caller on talkSPORT.
“Liverpool fans want Bellingham in, but he is not even going to look twice at coming to Liverpool.
“He is going to choose Manchester City, Real Madrid, all these other teams if you are not playing in the big competitions.”
Following the poor showing at Molineux on Saturday afternoon, Agbonlahor emphasised that he yhinkd Klopp is struggling to ‘motivate’ his squad, hinting that the Liverpool boss has lost the dressing room.
“I have been saying this a lot this season, Jurgen Klopp for me is not motivating these players,” Agbonlahor said.
“Recently I have been watching Liverpool and they are not playing like a group of players that are playing for the manager.
“You look [at] today, [Naby] Keita, Thiago strolling around. The third goal from [Ruben] Neves, Thiago just was not even bothered to follow the run.
“You look at their last three away games: loss, loss, loss. They can’t score goals anymore, [Darwin] Nunes isn’t finishing his chances, [Mohamed] Salah doesn’t look like a threat anymore.
“[Cody] Gakpo needs some time to be fair to him but he doesn’t look like he is up to it yet. We talk about how he [Klopp] has a lot of credit in the bank but do Liverpool fans want Klopp to stay? Because he is just not doing it at the moment.”
